Bob and Sandy Jurkovich have been a member of St. Peter Cathedral since 1980. Joining a Young Families group within their church provided a rich, spiritual and social environment for their three children (two boys and a girl) to grow up in. Two of them eventually married strong Catholics and the oldest was ordained a priest in June of 2004. Sandy has taught religious education classes, provides game and crafts every year for the church picnic and works with the Diocesan Hospitality Committee and the Altar Society. Bob chairs the Diocesan Hospitality Committee, organizes the church picnic and is a member of the parish council. He is a very active member of the Knights of Columbus. He served as Grand Knight for two terms, and oversees their monthly pancake breakfast as well as the spaghetti dinner to benefit the Care Clinic. Bob has also ushered for over 30 years. He travels each year with Fr. Robb Jurkovich, his son, to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life. Both are strong pro-life supporters.
